As Easter approaches I want to encourage my friends in blog land to take a few moments to
remember what Easter is all about...not the bunnies and eggs;
it is the Greatest gift anyone could receive...Christ dying for you...and raising from the tomb to prove there is life after death...
Eternity life..only though Him...
So maybe you could attend church and seek to gain more understanding of this great man and what He has done for you..
This is my prayer for this Easter season, that Hope would spring anew in your hearts...and you will rejoice in Christ and the work He has accomplished on your behalf.
   Happy Easter to all

I when though a few pictures and came up with these as possible pictures I would use on cards...
I love teapots and cups, everything blue and white ...and  of course flowers.
Some of these were taken at a little table I have in front of the balcony doors, great place to seat and have tea and read a book, with the sun streaming in...
these ones are a pattern of Skye McGhie..Rose Brocade
this teapot is Cream Lace another of her collections,
the cup and saucer is from
Winners, it has a Lacy pattern

this picture was taken with a feature on my camera called nostalgic color....it gives a softness to the picture..
I like the cottage look and this is my attempt at that....this is on one side of the mantle..
these plates are made by Wood and Sons, England... a creamy white background,..the cup and saucer I picked up in a little shop in the Valley,N.S.  the teapot from Home Sense
a few from my teacup collection
Fell in love with this bowl at Home Sense and had to bring it home...
These last two are teapots I have had for a few years and they of course are blue and white...what can I say...it is my weakness.......

see what you find and want to share....
Enjoy today...it is a Gift from God...

 Got to thinking about gardening......
and all the different articles you could use to plant in and ideas that would personalize what you do....so here are a few,  maybe you will enjoy and use in your garden adventures this coming season...

Love this idea of using old kitchen tools as markers for the plants...
Have I got you thinking about some of the stuff you have that could be re-directed, for another use...the bike is great....check Aiken House & gardens , she uses a bike that her Father had in her garden......
would love to have a cabinet like this to use as a potting area...I've seen one made with recycled pallets...old barn boards would be nice too...would give that weathered look
using old chairs as plant stands...isn't that potato vine a beautiful shade of green...fresh
I think would be great to plant herbs in and hang by the kitchen door....

Today I decided it was time for the Christmas dishes to go away for another year....
usually I have a mix of dishes but I decided to pull all the blue and white together which I do in the summer, I needed a taste of summer...

This teapot and two creamers I got about 15 years and it is an old English pattern.....
Arden...Burleigh..
Stafford shire..England

I have odds and ends of blue and white I have picked up over the years....I try on holidays to find something in blue to bring home to add to the mix...this small jelly mold I found in Halifax.

there are modern day potters that do a good job of patterns...in the background is a medium size platter by Skye McGhie...Rose Brocade..she has some lovely patterns that have a beautiful design ..

this little cup and saucer I bought at Winners several years ago when they first opened in Moncton...it is made by Spode..

these two have a little more of a purple shade to the blue, but I still think they are lovely...

here is a closer look at the pattern of the mold...very dainty..

"These are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."-Henry James

I love the old quotes .....
"There is no trouble so great or grave that cannot be much diminished by a cup of tea."
 -Bernard-Paul Heroux
"You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me."  C.S.Lewis

Have a wonderful weekend all you lovely ladies...
