Have been off for a few days with a bad cold and it really seems to like me...so I decided to go thur some pictures, also tried a recipe for
Linzer cookies
The magazine on the table is Teatime Bliss...
just picked it up, love it..
the opening pages had blue and white china, of
course that was a hit with me, right off.
These are flowers I got to brighten up my
apartment...even better they were 50% off.
these were tulips that I got at the same time ,
they are so pretty...soft pink
I also found this cup and sauce on sale, it has a little bird on the handle and the sauce has branches on the side...so soft and pretty..
Hope you all have a great week ....
A smile brightens not only your face, but can change the attitude of another....
Let God shine in you today......
GOD BLESS

What a way to wake up this morning with the sun shining in the bedroom window on the bed....God is good.."
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
As I look ahead at the long range forecast this could be the calm before the storm...
but I am thankful I know who is in control....of not just the storm but everything.

I have this self-diagnosed problem...I get bored in the Winter....
It begins with the feeling that everything I own is old and uninteresting, and no longer liking the way my rooms looks, the urge hits....I have to do something ... what are my options ........
1. go for a walk in the fresh air and return with a renewed passion for what I have...
2. get a piece of paper and re-design the room...moving around furniture and changing the pillows and pictures...
3. is to call a friend and have them over for tea and muffins.
Not a difficult option and quite enjoyable.
Tea always seems to help! and having a friend is Great....you can bounce some ideas off of them...
If that doesn't work; well there are always magazines....and of course more tea...
I do love the pictures in magazines, they tend to capture the essence of a room...
filling me with even more ideas....
painting....no no no...I rent, that isn't an option. But the new colors they have available...wow
Oh, there's food on this page....focus Martha, on the issue at hand...ideas for a fresh-looking room without spending any money or very little money...
Well, I guess you have the picture now...
I am not alone in this, there are lots of decorating and renovation shows on HGTV, comforting me with the fact , this is wide spread and curable.
I think my cure is moving the furniture and dreaming my dreams for knowing that neither of them will cost me any money today...
Hope you found my problem interesting if
nothing else...
Maybe you have similar issues...we should
chat.......
Have a Great day
These are some pictures from after the
re arranging was done.

Saturday.....Good to have days off to refuel... that's what I will do tomorrow when I go to Worship, I will refuel my soul for another week
So often I see pictures that bring memories of lovely places or times that I have shared with friends and family. The world around us is fast paced and getting faster it seems each day...
this week I was thinking of my childhood and how we had so much fun just playing in the yard using our imaginations, building forts in the snow, having tea parties on the verenah, playing with new kittens in the barn...I think children today are pushed into adulthood to early....they need to be children and enjoy those days .....so I have gathered some pictures that I hope you enjoy.

Monday morning waiting for the coffee to perk...outside there are a few flurries , my list of chores is before me....need the coffee first before I can make a decision which one to tackle first.
this box was my Father's, I love the years of wear and the patina of the wood...they speak to me of days past and the man who hold his pocket watch and cuff links in this along with some pictures of those He held dear.....Now it holds my memories and someday it will be my daughters....to hold her memories...
Thinking that Valentine's is coming soon....I need to make a few Valentine cards for some special people...and two very special boys....the loves of my life. So to draw some inspiration, I decided to use my cream lace tea cup ( heart cutouts in saucer) along with some candle light that always helps...roses and pearls..I think that will do, I feel the ideas coming...

These two can't decide whether to go for those buried treasures or wait till its warmer....
There was alot of frost on the trees and they were beautiful as the sun shone on them....like a postcard....these are along the river and as the tide comes in the frost settles on everything and last night there was thick fog, thus the beauty this morning...
Here is another glimpse of the river at high tide and the frost on the roses bushes and the fur trees are still laden with snow from our Wednesday storm....Winter can be so picture perfect..
I pass this everyday on my way to and from work....it has never frozen up completely...the local deer are happy....have seen some tracks but never the deer..
Frosty Friday on my way home tonight the sunset was beautiful...the colors were amazing..........I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ...
